More Exciting News about Dance Fever!--Dana Wilson

We are so excited to announce that along with the renowned Liz Imperio, fabulous dancer and choreographer Dana Wilson will be teaching at Dance Fever!

Dana was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. At Michelle Latimer Dance Academy, she studied many forms of dance, and fell particularly hard for contemporary movement, hip hop, and funk styles. Dana moved to Los Angeles at age 18 to pursue her dreams and become a professional dancer. Dana has been blessed with various work on contemporary companies, commercials, music videos, award shows, movies (Shrek 4, and Charlie Wilson’s War), a world tour with Justin Timberlake (the Future, Sex, Love Show), and worked as the assistant choreographer to Wade Robson on the new Cirque Du Soleil show "Believe". Dana is currently assisting Toni Basil on various projects including an upcoming Van Halen tour, and is teaching around the world. She has lit the stage as a performer, and has become a passionate teacher and choreographer, but above all, is an admirer and student of movement.

Important Updates from Infinity Dance!

Lots of exciting things happening at Infinity Dance, so we wanted to let you know about them!

ALAN SALAZAR ROUTINE
First of all, in the next week we will be auditioning for a hip hop routine that will be choreographed by Alan Salazar. Alan will be coming on August 7 & 8, so girls that make the routine should plan on dancing until the wee hours both days. Cost will be $75 per dancer.

Your teachers will be watching you in all hip hop classes, and invitations will be given to those who the teachers feel will be best suited for this piece. So make sure you are ON YOUR TOES this week. This routine will feature dancers a variety of ages.

LIZ IMPERIO COMING TO DANCE FEVER
Also coming up is Dance Fever, August 28 & 29. We are THRILLED to announce that Liz Imperio will be teaching at Dance Fever! We are also thrilled to announce that she will be doing a piece for Infinity Dance, and we will let you know more information as it gets closer.

Liz is the founder of Instincts Live Media Dance Company, which has performed at Jazz Dance World Congress in Buffalo, in Monterrey, Mexico, Chicago, and Costa Rica. An active choreographer in the commercial world, she has worked with such celebrities as Madonna, Al Pacino, Patrick Swayze, Tracy Ullman, Martin Short, Cher, Jasmine Guy, Deborah Cox, and Selena. She also directed and choreographed Gloria Estefan’s last two world tours. Liz’s courageous and spiritual approach is the foundation of all her work.

KENNEDY AND KYLIE ALLEN
This past week at Dance Utah, put on by Odyssey Dance Theatre, both Kylie and Kennedy Allen received scholarships to next year's Dance Utah! Since only two scholarships are given out per group, we are thrilled that the sisters BOTH got a scholarship!

Way to represent, girls!

TASHA SMEDLEY
Tasha is heading off at the end of this week to represent Utah in the Miss Teen USA Pageant. Good luck, Tasha! We know you will do AWESOME!
