Update on January 31 practice

Hello everyone,

This is an update on our January 31 Company practice. This practice will require full hair and makeup, accessories, the black bums everyone ordered, and a black shirt. Also props and glasses. We have a lot of routines to get on the floor, so we are not doing costumes just yet, and will have a dress rehearsal at the studio, but Mandy wants hair and makeup done, and you must wear all black. PLEASE WATCH THE WEB SITE FOR CHANGES and additional information. We are headed into crunch season, and the best way to stay informed is to watch the Web site.

Robin will be sending home a note soon with instructions for hair and makeup.

ALSO, there will be NO PARENTS ALLOWED at this rehearsal. Faculty only. We have a very limited amount of time to get each routine on the stage, work with spacing, etc. Please arrange to drop your daughter off and pick her up when her time is over.

Mothers of the younger Company members need not worry, as Senior and Teen Company dancers will help the younger girls.

1:00 – 1:30--Brandi & Carrie--Brigham Mini Company, Brigham Teen Company, and Tiny Company

1:30 - 2:00--Kassie & Makinzee--Jr. Company 2, Salty Eyes, Off the Rail, Teen Company 2

2:00 – 3:00--Angie & Amber--Ogden Sr. Company, Ogden Jr. Company, Ogden Jr. Funk, Ogden Mini Company, Mini Funk & Tiny Company

NOTE: We will not be taking Ogden Sr. Funk or Alan’s Routine to Odyssey. They are not finished and we still need time to get them ready. Your accounts will be credited for this fee.

Robin is finalizing Odyssey competition TODAY. If you have not registered for your solo/duo, you will NOT be able to compete.

Dance for Life will be finalized January 30. If you haven’t turned in paperwork or contacted Robin, it will be too late!!

Please remember to turn in your paperwork when it is due for Spotlight and Thunderstruck. Forms will be available in the office February 2.

I owe an apology to the Brigham parents that I confused with one of my emails. I had written out a headline that said Ogden Companies, but omitted it when I used my cut and paste function, and thus led them to believe Brigham Companies were the ones with a practice.

I am very sorry for my mistake, and will take extra care to make sure it is clear from here on out.

Also, if you see a mistake, or are confused, please email me and ask about it. I am not perfect, so sometimes I make a typo. I appreciate any help you would give me to get it right.
