Prep Team, Ballroom and Company MANDATORY Rehearsal

Thursday, February 11 @ Roy High School Auditorium



4:00 – 5:30 Prep Teams

5:30 – 6:00 Ballroom Teams

6:00 – 9:00 Companies



Must wear BLACK hot shorts and BLACK dance top. Must have competition hair and make-up (refer to notes that were handed out a few weeks ago or check the website.) Any costumes that have not been picked up will be available on this day from your office staff outside of the auditorium! Parents are NOT PERMITTED to attend rehearsal – just drop off and pick up. Please bring $10/per student to pay for rental fee. Office staff and Teachers DO NOT have to pay!!

Below are the scheduled rehearsals for BOTH STUDIOS, for Saturday, January 30. Please note: all rehearsals will be held at the Ogden Studio.

There will also be rehearsals next weekend!

Also, Autumn is inviting all her soloists for a dress rehearsal/cleaning session Saturday, February 6, from 5-8 p.m. Each soloist will need to bring five dollars and come in full costume, hair, and make up. Autumn recommends soloists take advantage of this time, as it will be the last before comp season starts.

Production tonight

Production tonight will be Senior Company. The next two weeks, Feb. 1 and 8, it will be everyone.

No Senior Funk practice tomorrow

Autumn's Ogden Senior Funk practice, scheduled for tomorrow, has been canceled. We will let you know when it has been rescheduled.

OGDEN STUDIO SPECIAL REHEARSALS

On Saturday, January 16, from 4-6 p.m., there will be an Ogden Senior Company Funk Rehearsal.

Please note that there are NO REGULAR CLASSES ON MONDAY, January 18 at EITHER studio. It is Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, and both studios will be closed. However, there will be some specialty rehearsals.

Auditions for solos at Hollywood Vibe

Hello all,

Because we can only take 25 solos to Hollywood Vibe, we will be holding auditions at the Ogden studio on Tuesday, January 12, at 5:00 p.m.

No parent meeting on Saturday

There WILL NOT be a Parents Information Meeting on Saturday. There were so
many conflicts, both with teachers and dancers, that Mandy decided to send
out the information in an email, instead of holding a meeting.

As soon as the information is approved, I will post it.

Monday Rehearsals

Although there is no regularly scheduled dance on Monday, Autumn will be holding the following rehearsals:

4-5:30 Jr. Company--The Queen
5:30-7 Ogden Teen Company lyrical
7-8:30 Alan’s routine

Update on competitions

Hello all,

Because there were so many competitions in February, and because of conflicts with some schedules, we have decided NOT to do Odyssey February 26 & 27. In its place, we will be doing Thunderstruck April 30 and May 1. This will allow us some time between comps, and required competition fees. We know that this is a tight year for many, and with so many competitions in a row, the fees were very close together.

Also, please be aware that because we are bringing so many dancers, the Hollywood Vibe Convention fee is $165 instead of $185. Yay!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because we follow the Weber School District schedule, please remember there is NO DANCE MONDAY. Dance will resume on Tuesday.
